Job Description Summary:
As a Millwright for Rolls Royce, you’ll move, construct, install and repair general plant equipment and machine tools in accordance with plant layouts and specific instructions.

What you will be doing:
- Dismantle, move, install, rearrange machine tools and mechanical equipment
- Construct, install, dismantle, move, erect, align and repair general plant equipment such as overhead hoists, tracks, and conveyors.
- Set up rigging and equipment to perform any of the above jobs
- Use all types of equipment and tools common to the trade such as hoists, cranes, block and tackle, rollers, pinch bars, acetylene welding and cutting equipment, squares, levels, callipers, wrenches, hammers, etc.
- Work from blueprints, drawings, verbal and written instructions
- Work from ladders or catwalks lifts and boom lifts high above shop floor
- May be required to handle both liquid and solid type hazardous materials and wastes
- May be required to handle clean-up of these hazardous materials and wastes
- In order to be considered for this position you must be a US Citizen

Basic Qualifications:
- Must have completed a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training to qualify as a Journeyman
- Must be able to read blueprints and have a knowledge of basic math
Preferred:
- Experienced in the proper and safe methods to handle hazardous materials as referenced above
