As the part of the wider team which forms the only wholly owned Rolls Royce Part145 Overhaul facility, you contribute to delivering world class service on our legacy engines. You will also have the opportunity to play a part in shaping our NPI and Capability strategy, sharing and developing best practices across the global Overhaul Network.

On a day-to-day basis, you will use Rolls Royce technical instructions and engine manuals across a range of engine variants and assess the quality of components to ensure they meet relevant standards. You will be capable of understanding engineering drawings, interpreting manufacturing and customer drawings and written specifications. A flexible, adaptable approach to meet the ever-changing business requirements and ability to work well as part of a team to resolve quality issues would be valuable qualities.

What you will be doing:

  • Inbound inspections.
  • Engine boroscoping
  • Sentence inspection.
  • Build and despatch inspection activities.
  • Release of components to service.
  • Occasional off-site inspection duties which may include the need to travel

  • Able to understand engineering drawings and/or engine manuals
  • Knowledge of SAP and PC literate
  • Currently approved for borescope inspection would be advantageous.
  • Experience of component or engine inspection
  • Time-served advanced apprenticeship; NVQ level 3
